Cataloge design : Eddie Opara

This is an University Project I created for one of my typography classes. I am assigned to design a catalog in full colour for a specific individual who will host an exhibition at the DX, Canada's Design Museum. The catalog will include the introduction/curator’s message, biography, philosophy, inspiration, and samples of work. This is also a project where I needed to organize my researched information, the designer I chose for this catalog design project is Eddie Opara.
Above is the font and back cover, the reason I chose Tiffany blue and black as the theme colour is because I think this colour combination fits Eddie's personality well, morover, I wanted to create a calm, logical, simple and professional catalog based on my research on Eddie Opara.
Inside covers of the font cover and the first page of the catalog.
Since the first page is intended to be a black page, the back side of the black page is in white and the title page is on the right side.
First page and second page - a short history and facts about the DX and background information about Eddie Opara.
Third and Fourth page - "Nothing is ever Finished", a quote from Eddie's philosophy in design.
Fifth and sixth page - a visualized conversation between Eddie Opara and Aaron Kenedi about Eddie's philosophy in graphic design.
.
Seventh and eighth page - showcasing Eddie's sample work and his dicision making.
